Keep a pet that eats studying

Turn a Hollow into your pet. Each one wants one school chapter, and right answers in that chapter feed it. Miss too many days and it goes wild.

Be the teacher

The whole town forgot what it learned. Explain it to them, and their memory comes back. Teaching someone is how it sticks.

Earn your own money

Do deliveries across a tiny Toa Payoh, teach the person who ordered, and get tipped for it. Spend it in the shops and on the things you want.

Your first minutes

You think it's a mouse.
So you throw your textbook.

One morning Mum stops mid-sentence and goes blank. Three tiny things are scuttling towards her. You throw your textbook, and it's a direct hit.

  • It faints. Then it crawls to your book and nibbles a page.
  • You answer one question to bring it round. It's yours now: your first pet.
  • The others got away. One with a scar has Mum's memory, and you're going to get it back.

Why now

Sec 1 and Sec 3 are
the big jumps.

New subjects, new words, a faster pace. School starts on 4 January 2027. The holidays are the time to get ready, and this way it doesn't feel like getting ready.

  • Starting Sec 1: meet secondary school science before day one.
  • Going into Sec 3: Physics, Chemistry and Biology, one book or all three.
  • Get it wrong and you see why. Then it comes back for another go.
